School Principal

The School Principal is primarily responsible for all activities involving students and faculty at Legends Charter School. The Principal hires, trains, mentors, and develops the faculty. Partners with the Director of School Operations to make key operational and financial decisions for the school. Directly supervises all instructional positions. Ultimately responsible for the implementation of Legends Charter School curriculum and the academic success of all students.

Dean of Students

The Dean of Students is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and supportive environment culture that synthesizes the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of Legends Charter School students to maintain a strong, positive, and achievement-oriented school culture.  Supervises the character development program and ensures that it systematically builds and reinforces the character/strengths/vales and self-identity students need to be happy and successful.

Instructional Coach

The Instructional Coach supports teachers’ achievement of goals, as needed, by effectively employing coaching strategies that gradually release responsibility for implementing instructional practices to the teacher (for example, co-planning, modeling, and observing).  

Teachers

The teacher provides for instruction of students by developing, selecting, and modifying instructional plans and materials and presenting them using instructional techniques which meet the needs of all students. 

Legends Charter School is seeking motivated content experts to provide instruction in the following subjects from Kindergarten through 8th Grade:

Legends Fellow

The role of the Legends Fellow is to support students in the classroom with a focus on attendance, behavior, culture and academics.   Legends Fellows will be held accountable for reaching Legends Charter School's Social-Emotional Goals and Outcomes.  Legends Fellows will facilitate team building games at recess, ensure consistency of culture in special area classes and specials and any other support, accommodation or modification the students may need to be successful.

Librarian

Duties and responsibilities of the Librarian include entailing the application of library knowledge, techniques, and procedures to a variety of library operations, i.e., providing research to ascertain the availability of data in general and special areas, the compiling of bibliographies, the coordination of recommendations for purchases and the selection and purchasing of new materials. 

Director of Quality

The Director of Quality is responsible for planning, developing, and directing quality assurance policies, programs, and initiatives for Legends Charter School.  Develops, implements, and revises quality standards, tools, and methods. Evaluates the performance of processes and quality of resulting performance to improve existing methods of operation.

Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator

The Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Legends Charter School’s processes associated with the strategic planning and institutional effectiveness efforts of the school, including activities associated with assessment; institutional compliance; institutional research; and the collection, analysis, and reporting of information and data. Duties include oversight of data systems such as the KPI Dashboards systems.  

Administrative Coordinator

The Administrative Coordinator will be charged with managing the day-to-day operations of the administrative staff of Legends Charter School, including calendar upkeep, travel arrangements, and various other projects.  

Front Office Coordinator

The Front Office Coordinator provides support services to the school’s faculty and staff to meet the mission of Legends Charter School. This position is responsible for managing all systems related to student enrollment and records. Additionally, the Front Office Coordinator oversees student registration and re-enrollment, updates physical student files, and maintains student attendance records.

Before & After School Coordinator

The Before & After School Coordinator position will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality before and after school programs at Legends Charter School by working closely with community-based organizations, parents, school staff, and other stakeholders to create an infrastructure that will sustain an integrated system of services, partnerships, and programs that meet the specific needs of the school.
